A two-dimensional guy collaborates with a three-dimensional one, much like in the AdS3/CFT2 correspondence. They have also exchanged their pints.
Julian Beever, the three-dimensional one, has created dozens of similar anamorphic illusions or "trompe-l'œil", if you wish. Laptops, flies, globes, bottles with 3D dwarves, nudes, chasms with UK politicians, and many other things that look perfectly three-dimensional but they are just drawings on the sidewalk. ;-)
