Steve Milloy of JunkScience.COM and pals have sued Lisa Jackson's EPA for having deliberately exposed unhealthy humans to harmful and lethal substances:
EPA Human Testing.COM, a special website about the storyMilloy et al. claim to have gone through hundreds of pages obtained via the Freedom of Information Act. The documents imply, he says, that at least a dozen of citizens were treated by carcinogenics and other harmful pollutants, including diesel exhaust and fine particulate matter (PM2.5).

I have no way to safely verify whether the allegations are right. If they're right, it's kind of shocking – emotionally – but one should still calmly think whether such activities are necessary and whether they could be helpful. Milloy seems to suggest that those experiments on people have been used to determined which things shorten people's lives.
What do you think? Pictures such as one above are scary, aren't they? That's especially the case for those of us from Central Europe.
