An emotional movie on Stephen Hawking: Theory of Everything

In November 2014, a new emotional movie will hit the cinemas.

A trailer plus a review. The talkative reviewer thinks that the filmmakers were cheating when they suggested that Hawking and his wife were saints who transcended the disease. True but the most ambitious movies like that aren't documentaries, anyway.

"A Theory of Everything" is a film about Hawking's life, work, and medical disorder. But it is primarily a movie about his love life, a movie focusing on Jane Hawking, his wife through 1995.

Search Google News for various reviews.

The British "Metro" is among the outlets that believe that the movie is a pure Oscar bait. I haven't seen the full movie so I can't tell.

The movie shouldn't be confused with Hawking (2013). The latter, although it has covered similar events, has a sort of a "boring" documentary format.

The BBC did a great drama on Hawking:

Definitely worth a look!

Every action you take will have its consequences in the future. The idiotic anti-Russian propaganda, the murder of innocent people in Odessa, abduction and killing of Russian journalists, assault on the Russian embassy in Kiev, thousands of innocent civilians slaughtered by the Ukrainian army during the so-called anti-terrorist operation, MH-17 false flag, and the list goes on. The Russians have a long memory. None of this will be forgotten and no one will be forgiven.

Sorry Lubos, I didn't realize they were the same from the trailer!

Looks as if PBS butchered the original BBC drama, and included a few good looking charismatic academics to give it more of a US mass appeal.

Hi Lubos, yes, this is a trailer for a real movie about the
physics, but these days I saw a trailer for a paper in
by Sergei V. Ketov and Takahiro Terada, titled “Inflation in
Supergravity with a Single Chiral Superfield”. I don't know if you ever see this before!!!!!

Stephen Hawking is the best! One thing that's great about Hawking is his ability to admit when he thinks he was wrong about something, which is the foundation of science, but all too often a shortcoming of individual scientists. Hawking 4eva!

S.h. has found his UFO. It's the new pi rim extention with the gold colored windows. Its made of real gold film just like the astronaut helmet visors. I know this because our company bid on the elevators but they wanted the machine room outside the building - too far from the center. They have really heavy security on the site. You can't even take pictures on their property. They will call the police. What they are hiding is a new engine on the basement vault using asymmetric pulsed anti-graviton fields generated by dark mass oscilations between alternate intersecting universes.

When its done its ready to take off with those gold colored with windows to keep out the bright sunlight.
They won't need the elevator motor, this is why its outside the building.

Actually the Russ were working on the same thing in all those basement under the Kiev nuclear station when it blew up. This is why those scientist risked their lives to fond out what happened. Some died of rad exposure you know. Why do you think the us want ukr a new. ;-)

LOL, cool, Leo. I would still prefer if the paper were this extraordinarily dramatic, and not just the trailer. ;-) The paper looks like the 8th most important speculative variation of the 4th most motivated version of the 15th most attractive version of inflation.

Seems the MH17 shoot down is now solved and all facts confirm Ukrainian responsibility, what was previously already leaked to Robert Parry at by US intelligence officers.

A willful murder appears more likely, committed by one of the oligarchs or another extreme party in the current government, because the presence of the BUKs in that area on that day is otherwise difficult to explain.

reader Luboš Motl said...

Dear Linda, it would be very important but your explanation was confirmed by whom? And what evidence?

I read the consort. News in to report above. It sounds pretty good. The UK buks were all on range while the east UK buk was not.
Also the east UK buk did not have the radar station and remote control system so its range would be limited if it worked at all.
