Al Gore: Earth will become a total frying pan today

Today, it's the 26th of January, 2016. Because the mankind hasn't done any "drastic action" to reduce CO2 emissions (which indeed continued to rise at a moderate 2%-per-year pace in recent years, except for the moderate 2014-to-2015 decrease), the Armageddon is coming later today.

At least it's the case according to an amateur scientist who has served as a vice president of a major Western power, a man named Al Gore.

On the January 26th, 2006 issue of the Washington Post, we have learned about the results of Al Gore's research. The article said, among other things,
But he [Al Gore] is also a very serious guy who believes humans may have only 10 years left to save the planet from turning into a total frying pan.
The deadline just happens to be today.

The 10-year deadline determined by the star of the 2006 Sundance Film Festival has been reported at many other places. Rush Limbaugh has been greatly intrigued by that prediction. For a much more mainstream example, look at CBS News on this January day in 2006:
And politicians and corporations have been ignoring the issue for decades, to the point that unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse gases are taken within the next 10 years, the world will reach a point of no return, Gore said. He sees the situation as "a true planetary emergency."
Finally, the climate alarmism may stop and the climate alarmism government institutions across the world may be abolished today because the Earth is just entering the state of no return. We should enjoy our last days.

Meanwhile, in the real world, nothing has detectably changed about the climate in the recent 10 years. The satellite graphs of the global mean temperature look like this:

No trend in the recent 18.7 years. The temperatures aperiodically oscillate around the same line as they did in the mid 1990s or mid 2000s. According to the weather stations, the trend-like increase since 2006 has been comparable to 0.1 °C or 0.2 °C or so. Does it look like a planetary emergency? No, for all practical purposes and most of the impractical purposes as well, the global climate change has been indistinguishable from zero in these "critical" 10 years.

Al Gore has become a toxic asset which is why many people love to say that the climate hysteria isn't about Al Gore. Well, it isn't just about Al Gore. But Al Gore remains the only individual person who has gotten a Nobel prize for the climate hysteria. He perfectly symbolizes what kind of scientifically illiterate pseudointellectuals the defenders of the climate panic are. And he has earned a not so negligible portion of the money that the climate alarmism has "produced" as a fraudulent scheme.

With his hundreds of millions earned from Sheikhs and from bogus carbon indulgencies – in combination with his incredible assertions about morality and carbon footprints – Al Gore is the best example of the unbelievable corruptness of this particular political movement which only attempts to abuse, distort, and rape science but whose true goal is the personal benefit of the champions and the reduction of the freedom, prosperity, and size of the mankind.

Al Gore is a polarizing figure, not a professional scientist, and the world is very complex but one relationship is very simple: The more a hired climate scientist buys into the idea that a dangerous global climate change is underway, the more he tolerates Al Gore.

So for example, RealClimate.ORG, a website run by fraudsters and crackpots who behave as if they were scientists at the same moment, has repeatedly praised Al Gore's crackpot movie and tried to obscure all the proofs that the movie is a sequence of lies and demagogy.

Ten years of this climate hysteria on steroids have been enough and I urge all nations of the world to arrest the most prominent representatives of this greatest financial fraud of the mankind's history, confiscate their assets, and design a much harsher punishment for the worst offenders such as Al Gore. The climate hysteria has been a multi-trillion protection racket that makes the Italian Mafia look like a baby with a pacifier.
