Witten's dog

It turned out that Witten's dog, the simple perturbative diagram in superdupersymmetric string theory, is actually dual to Schrödinger's cat. Did you know?

  1. It's a pity there aren't more of these animals in the pet theories of physicists. Kids would really love it!

How about Lubos' tarantula (for something with 8 components) and his insects (6 components)?

I've got it! Let's call the 6-d Calabi-Yau manifold the "insect".

What a beautiful theory is sounds!
